Tony Oxley Celebration Orchestra-Gütersloh, Germany(May-15 1993)

Recently uploaded by request for a Friend, another transcendent set by the great musical Alchemist/Shaman Tony Oxley who is one of our very favourites here at IS.

For me this is transformative ritual urban folk music ,for a decaying civilization.
FM BROADCAST in brutaly vivid ,superb sound quality..almost terrifying in its intensity.

BUT where is the link to the file??? I really would like to listen to this Jorge… I’ve sent you a private email but got no reply. BTW I’ve just got back from Darmstadt performing in the Tony Oxley Quartet with Tony, it was recorded by SWR2 so will be broadcast in germany very soon ( probably be streamed online afterwards ) I enjoyed the gig but will be interested to read what others think ( ie: not the usual pig ignorant jazz critics that have no concept of where this music is supposed to go or what Tony is trying to get to with his music. )

  5. This domain seems to get a great deal of visitors. How do you promote it? It offers a nice unique spin on things. I guess having something real or substantial to talk about is the most important factor.
